Summer Zoo Camp

Summer is just around the corner, so enroll your child in a summer he or she will never forget! Our newly designed camps feature lots of exciting animal interactions and fun activities that give your child an opportunity to be a real zookeeper!

We're excited to introduce two camper levels to accommodate all children!

ZooKids: Campers ages 5 to 9 will love this fun and exciting look into the world of animals from big to small, and scaly to fluffy, and everything in between! Campers will spend the week exploring the diversity of wildlife, animal diets, habitats, enrichment, and even star in a camper-led animal

ZooKeepers: Campers ages 9 to 14 will get an introduction to the knowledge and experience needed to work with animals. Campers will study the differences between animal groups, diets, care, and enrichment, which will give them the understanding to perform a wildlife presentation for their family and friends on the last day of camp.

KodiEinstein Needs Your Help To Save His Vision!

Einstein the tawny owl and his nest-mate Newton came to WLC from the World Bird Sanctuary about 8 years ago. He has recently developed a cataract in his left eye that obstructs his vision which impairs his ability to judge distance, find his food, and affects his overall quality of life. WLC has located an avian eye-specialist to perform a surgery to remove the cataract and completely restore his vision. The surgeon has generously agreed to perform the surgery for $1,600.

WLC is looking for friends who can help sponsor the surgery. It is easy to do, tax deductible, and any amount will help. For donations of $500 or more, WLC is happy to show our gratitude with a free Zoofari behind the scenes tour and a lynx meet and greet, for you and a couple of friends. Call us at 818-362-8711 or use our friendly and safe Paypal button (below). Please feel free to talk to cofounder Paul if you have any questions. Thank you for caring :-)
